On December 12, 2017, Seegene relocated its distribution center to a facility in. Following on the heels of the company’s expansion of its production facility in October 2016, this move is intended to stabilize Seegene’s distribution process.
The new Seegene distribution center not only enhances the company’s productivity with a vastly improved distribution flow and work environment compared to the former distribution center at its headquarters, but was carefully designed to meet the notoriously meticulous good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards in Korea for medical device production and quality management. This new distribution center is also equipped with facilities that allow the prompt examination and repair of basic equipment for the production and testing of molecular diagnostics products.
With the expanded scale of its distribution center, Seegene’s product storage and processing capability has increased by 173 percent. A Seegene distribution spokesperson said, “As it has a well-established local distribution network and is close by the regional offices of several major international shipping companies, including FedEx, DHL, and UPS, this new location of distribution center is an ideal place in terms of shipping. While distributing Seegene’s outstanding products quicker through a system that is more stable and offers improved services, we aim to focus on increasing awareness and raising the status of Seegene’s brand around the world.”
