On April 10, The Korean Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists held its spring symposium. KAOG’s mission is to promote the wellbeing of women in South Korea and to raise the standards of practice in obstetrics and gynecology. The symposium has a record high attendance of the doctors.

Seegene presented information on various products which can detect pathogens causing infections such as urethritis, cervicitis, bacterial vaginitis, candida vaginitis, genital ulcer and blisters. The ability of featured products to detect multiple pathogens with high sensitivity and from one specimen drew the attention of many clinicians.

Moreover, The Hepatrio Kit for the simultaneous detection of Hepatitis A/B/C was introduced to obstetricians for the first time. Obstetricians showed a great interest tin the Hepatrio Kit which has the ability to determine vertical transmission of the hepatitis viruses from mothers to newborns.
