Seegene Introduces the Nimbus IVD to the Korean Society for Public Health

At the Korean Society for Public Health ’s 24th academic conference, held from April 15~16 at the Kim Koo Museum & Library Convention Center ?in Yongsan, Seegene introduced its automatic Nimbus IVD test system.

The Korean Society for Public Health’s annual conference is an occasion for sharing the latest in medical technician training, medical equipment, and research for promoting the public health sector. The society is affiliated with the Korea Association of Medical Technologists and is operated primarily by medical laboratory technologists and government employees working in over 260 public health centers nationwide. Held under the theme “Management of Acute and Chronic Infectious Diseases for the Improvement of National Health,” this year’s conference included presentations such as “Preparation for and Response to Infectious Diseases as Public Health Crises” and “Trends and Containment of Infectious Diseases.”

At the conference, Seegene introduced the Nimbus IVD, a single-platform, automated test system that can conduct tests according to various categories?such as food poisoning/enteritis/diarrhea, STDs, dementia, respiratory infections, and TB/medicinal tolerance. As an all-in-one system, the Nimbus IVD can conduct multiple tests when connected to the CFX96™ (real-time PCR), thus eliminating the need to set up different equipment per test subject. This not only enhances convenience and the effective use of lab space but also reduces lab operation fees, involves less manual labor, and saves time. Another advantage is that it can be optimized for a wide range of laboratory settings thanks to the flexibility of its testing range.

Seegene attracted significant attention at the conference with the introduction of its Nimbus IVD and CFX96™ and was able to promote them to representatives from hospitals, commercial laboratories, health centers and clinics.
