On September 17, Frost & Sullivan hosted the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Korea Excellence Awards at the 63 Convention Center, where Seegene was presented with the “South Korea In-Vitro Diagnostics Company of the Year Award.” In addition to Seegene, 30 companies received awards in a wide range of categories, including health care, food products, information technology, energy, and automation.

Country Director Hee-Sang Koo of Frost & Sullivan Korea stated in his remarks, “We at Frost & Sullivan are pleased to have gathered together the very best Korean companies for our Korea Excellence Awards. The nomination standards of our awards are based on not only market profitability and market share but also the originality of products and technologies. Due to the fierce competition within key industries, it was not easy to determine the award-winning companies. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who cooperated with our surveys for this awards ceremony.”

The companies that received awards at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Korea Excellence Awards were selected based on in-depth surveys conducted by Frost & Sullivan researchers. Candidate companies were evaluated based on a variety of real market growth indexes, including sales growth, market share, rate of market share growth, leadership in product innovativeness, marketing strategy, and business development strategies. Also, the award categories are changed each year, through careful consideration and evaluation, so as to fit the latest market trends.
