On March 19, Seegene opened an online cyber symposium to effectively promote its participation in the 2012 European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (ECCMID) that will be held in London (UK).
The cyber symposium was prepared to raise interest in Seegene’s exhibition booth by providing participants with information about the products to be introduced at the booth before the conference starts, and to continuously provide additional customer service concerning the products, even after the show. The cyber symposium is a web-based system that allows users to check past show information, at any time and from anywhere. In particular, it can present what was offered at the booth to people who couldn’t pay a visit, and thus is expected to boost promotional efforts.
At this cyber symposium, an identical exhibition booth to the one that will be set up in the venue has been implemented as a 3D model. When the user zooms in on an area of interest, he or she can see the graphic poster introducing the product and exhibits at one glance, and thus will feel as if he or she actually visited the booth. Also, the user can experience educational videos on DPO technology and videos on automation molecular diagnosis products, or request printed material through material request section. The user can also get useful information such as a guide to the exhibition center and exhibition booths and symposium programs, or visit the photo gallery and enjoy pictures taken from the exhibition center for the sense of realism.
The cyber symposium will further provide various information about the exhibition and its surroundings, and prepare different events to communicate with customers more closely.
The cyber symposium can be accessed by scanning the QR code from a mobile device, as well as from the Seegene homepage.
