The 47th Obstetrics and Gynecology Training Session and Progress Meeting were held for two days starting on May 18th, in the city of Gyeongju, which was experiencing the renewal of spring.
In the training session, which covered Maternal-Fetal medicine, Gynecological Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and General gynecology, residents (mostly in their 4th year, but including some in their 1st year as well), the main participants, shared the latest information and worked together to build a sense of fellowship.
In particular, by presenting the latest insights on cervical cancer screening, Seegene’s booth, which introduced the HPV DNA Test, enjoyed a lot of visitors. Also, Seegene attracted attention by presenting screening products for the Hepatitis A, B and C viruses that will be used in prenatal tests to prevent the vertical transmission of Hepatitis viruses to newborn babies.
Seegene is not yet widely known among Ob / Gyn clinicians, but is strengthening its collaboration in the molecular diagnosis field for women’s infectious diseases and hepatitis virus diseases, signing an agreement last year with the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology related to the promotion of women’s and newborn infants’ health.
