The 55th spring conference of the Korean Society for Laboratory Medicine (KSLM) was held from April 10 to 11 at The-K Seoul Hotel with over 1,000 members in attendance.
This year’s conference was based on the theme of “Good Laboratory Medicine Practice,” and was composed of two keynote speeches, 13 symposiums, and eight workshops.
Seegene unveiling its MuDT™ technology for the first time at this conference and also introduced two new products in its new Allplex™ series, which apply MuDT™ technology to enable the verification of at least two Ct values on a single channel. The Allplex™ Respiratory Full Panel Assay can test for 26 types of virus and bacteria that cause respiratory disorders, while the Allplex™ Gastrointestinal Full Panel Assay can identify 25 GI pathogens. Both products have already received CE-IVD marking and are currently being used in overseas. Furthermore, they are in the process of receiving license permits from the KFDA.
In celebration of spring, Seegene conducted an eco-bag event at its booth, in which a calligraphy artist created designs on canvas bags for booth visitors.
