The 15th Korean Society of Clinical Microbiology Conference was held on July 5-6 at Seoul Olympic Parktel.

At this conference, basic techniques for microbiology diagnosis testing and a new molecular diagnosis method that is essential for clinical microbiology diagnosis were showcased. Furthermore, a joint workshop with the Korean Association of Quality Assurance for Clinical Laboratory was held to discuss “Increasing the Quality of Clinical Microbiology Laboratory through External Quality Control” and a joint symposium was held with the Japan Microbiology Association with the main topic of “Tuberculosis Diagnosis Methods Between Korea and Japan” to vibrantly share the latest methods and information on diagnosis related to tuberculosis.

In this conference, Seegene promoted tuberculosis and tuberculosis drug resistance test products and highlighted the benefits of respiratory virus daily testing through testing automation, Nimbus IVD.
