From September 26th to October 12th, the 2014 Osong International Bio Industry Expo was held at Osong Bio Valley in Cheongso, Chungcheongbuk-do with the theme of 'The Secret of Life, Beautiful Future.'?

Through the International Bio Expo, the Osong Bio Valley tried to be recognized and further promoted as a key industry at the national level. The Expo also promoted increased infrastructure construction in the Osong Bio Valley, attracted investment from local and international sources, increased export levels and provided increased marketing opportunities for this rapidly-developing industry.

The expo featured various exhibition halls (Bio Future Hall, Theme Exhibition Hall, Bio Health Experience Hall, Beauty Experience Hall, Bio Industry Hall, Education Experience Hall, and Cosmetics/Beauty Industry Hall), which introduced various bio industries to visitors and encouraged active exchanges among businesses.

Seegene participated in an exhibition of the world's major bio products held in the Bio Future Hall that had the theme 'The Present of the Bio Industry,' and introduced its product for testing human papilloma virus and respiratory viruses using in-vitro diagnostic reagents. In-vitro diagnostics is a method that conducts an in-vitro diagnosis of diseases using blood, urine or other bodily fluids, and is divided into several different methods, such as clinical chemistry, cultivation, immune diagnostics, and molecular diagnostics. Among these in-vitro diagnostic methods, molecular diagnostics is probably the least known and the most difficult to understand for the public but probably the most developed techniques. And this expo provided an excellent opportunity for Seegene to promote its efficiency in the promising field of molecular diagnostics, a method that enables the diagnosis of diseases at the gene level.
