On February 3, the Korean Society of Clinical Microbiology Symposium was held at Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The symposium’s agenda was Clinical Microbiology for the Prevention of Healthcare-associated Infections, and considered various infectious diseases from different angles in relation to multi-drug resistant bacteria and the Korean Antimicrobial resistance monitoring system.
This symposium’s main participants were laboratory medicine doctors in the clinical microbiology and epidemiology field. At its booth, Seegene introduced test products of multi-drug resistant tuberculosis strain that are resistant to various antituberculous drugs as well as respiratory infections.
