2011 The Korean Society for Cytopathology was held at the Hilton Millennium Hotel from June 10 - 11. The KSC is attended by cytopathologists, and pathology residents in training and cytotechnologists working in technical cytopathology and it holds regular meetings to promote academic exchanges and to provide constant learning opportunities for its members, while actively managing the organizational standard via periodic Quality Improvement Program. In this symposium, Seegene promoted the BRAF somatic mutation detection test. Seegene also got attention from many of participants because of various diagnostic products, that employ the same specimens for cervical smear, as for the testing for the presence of HPV and other infectious disease tests such as urethritis, cervicitis, vaginitis, and genital ulcers or blisters.
