The Central Branch Conference of the Korean Academy of Pediatric Allergy and Respiratory Disease was held on October 12-13 at the Haevich Hotel Jeju, under the main topic of Respiratory Infectious Diseases in Children.

At this conference, Seegene promoted the need for molecular diagnostic tests of respiratory viruses and bacteria and highlighted the fact that although molecular diagnostic tests are currently not covered by medical insurance policies, expenses charged to patients such as test and treatment expenses can be insured through medical expense reimbursements  if the doctor acknowledges the necessity of such a test or if the policyholder is in the high-risk group.
