Seegene participated in the 21st European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (ECCMID) held in Italy from May7-10. Over 8000 Microbiology and Infectious Disease researchers and clinicians participated. ECCMID is an International conference and Seegene has been participating ECCMID since year 2008. Seegene introduced a wide array of its diagnostic products such as tests for TB, Sepsis, HPV and STI as well as introduced its automation system for sample extraction, amplification and automated analysis.
Seegene was the sole representative for Korean Molecular Diagnostic technology, as we were the only Korean Molecular Diagnostics company that attended among approximately 120 international companies. Seegene had the full support of its Italian, Turkish and European distributors, Shimadzu; Japanese automatic electrophoresis instrument company and Caliper from the U.S.
Seegene also sponsored a dinner for its European customers on the 2nd day of the conference were Seegene employees were able to spend valuable time with its customers. The conference provided a great opportunity to introduce new products and to exchange information on the current status of Molecular Diagnostic laboratories in different countries.
