Seegene Announces New Technology MuDT at AACC 2014

Aug 02, 2014

?
The 2014 AACC Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo was held at McCormick Place in Chicago, U.S.A. from July 29th to 31st, 2014.
?
At this congress, Seegene introduced a new technology 'MuDTTM,' which can double the number of detecting targets in a single channel without melting curve analysis.
?
By utilizing a change of the fluorescence signals between two different detection temperatures, this outstanding technology enables to select fluorescent dyes regardless of real-time PCT instrument types, and applicable without any hardware upgrade. ?
?
In addition, since the MuDT technology simultaneously detects and quantifies multiple targets in a single reaction, it provides comprehensive information for patient care and it leads to improved test efficiency with the reduction in healthcare costs and labors.
?
In addition, Seegene presented a dancing robot performance as a way to promote its new 'Allplex' brand products equipped with MuDT and to raise the crowd’s interest in its products that can cover various molecular diagnostics areas, including infectious diseases (e.g. viruses and germs), tumors, and gene mutations, in a one platform system.
?
Seegene has participated in AACC every year to gain an insight into the latest trends and information of the diagnostics industry, expand opportunities for business in partnership with global diagnostics players, and meet with prospective customers interested in its technology and products.
