The campaign “Knit One, Save One” of international relief development NGO Save the Children enters its 7th season this year. As always, the Seegene family participated in Save the Children’s campaign this year to share warmth by stitching with their hearts.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Seegene has made contributions to the healthy life of humankind as the company’s main value, and has participated in this campaign for 4 years in order to protect and give warm affection to infants who suffer from life-threatening hypothermia.
By purchasing the ‘Knit One, Save One’ kits, including 2 sets of knitting wool, a needle, and a pamphlet that explains how to knit the hats, the woolen hats will be delivered to Save the Children to be sent to newborn babies in Asia and Africa.
An employee at Seegene said, “We are poor at knitting, but, by making the woolen hats with our heart, we cannot help but participate in the campaign every year because we can give a little help to save infants who are dying from hypothermia.” “We hope the children grow up rapidly and healthily,” the employee added.
