Job Title: Technical Marketing Specialist

Headquartered in Seoul, Korea, Seegene, Inc. is a biotechnology company specializing in developing innovative platform technologies and products for life science research.
The proprietary ACP™ or Annealing Control Primer technology (patent pending) and related products have been proven their uniqueness and quality in various fields, and distributed in 14 countries around the world. We recently entered into a licensing arrangement with Sigma for the ACP technology.
Planning on launching new products utilizing the ACP technology, we are looking for talented, hard-working, passionate professionals in marketing, sales, and technical support in the US market. If you are interested in a challenging career in biotech, this is for you.
Qualifications
Masters degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields.
At least 1-2 years experience in strategic marketing, sales, and technical support in the biotechnology industry
Extensive hands-on experience in PCR
An understanding of PCR and other molecular biology technologies and applications
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to develop relationships and work effectively with customers and distributors
Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans, consistently delivering expected business results
Product launch and promotional experience
Research experience at NIH plus
Must be an US citizen.
Responsibilities
Provide training and seminars to customers, customer leads, and distributors.
Coordinate pre-sales activities including seminars, scientific discussions and consultation, and collaborations with key customers.
Provide on-going post-sales support, training and collaboration activities to ensure customer satisfaction/utilization of the products.
Manage feedback and field evaluation for product enhancements and new product development activities.
Define target customers and their needs, and product requirements based on customer, competition and market trends.
Visit customers in their laboratories.
Provide training and technical support to new and existing distributors in the US.
Organize, attend, and support regional conferences and meetings.
Work with the marketing group in the headquarters to develop strategic and tactical marketing and sales plans for the US market.
