Simultaneous detection and identification of Mycoplasma genitalium & 6 mutations in parC gene related moxifloxacin resistance

Allplex™ MG & MoxiR Assay is a multiplex Real-time PCR assay that detects and identifies M. genitalium and 6 mutations in parC gene related moxifloxacin resistance. Based on Seegene’s proprietary MuDT™ Technology, this assay enables to check MG infection and moxifloxacin resistance in a single test and reports individual Ct values of each pathogen in a single channel without melting curve analysis.

Result

Multiple Ct value in a single channel

The result represents detection of MG with A247C mutation in Quasar670 and FAM channel with Ct values of 26.52 (Graph 2) and 29.21 (Graph 1), respectively.
