Allplex™ Meningitis-B is a multiplex real-time PCR assay that detects and identifies 6 meningitis causative bacteria simultaneously. Based on Seegene’s proprietary MuDT™ technology, this assay reports multiple Ct values of each pathogen in a single channel using real-time PCR instrument and overcomes the limitation of current diagnostic methods such as culture and stain of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) with much higher sensitivity.
