On July 25^th, 2019 Korea’s Best Job Accreditation Ceremony took place at Sejong Convention Center in Sejong, which was hosted by Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Presidential Committee on Jobs. On this day, Seegene received the presidential accreditation plaque for Korea’s Best Job.

Korea’s Best Job citation was initiated last year to encourage the companies that have contributed in creating jobs and led improving the quality of workplace. And this year was its second anniversary. Once the committee searches for the candidates by analyzing the employment insurance database and receiving recommendations from local employment and labor offices, it performs a field survey of the candidates and obtains the company and the union’s opinions to select the final 100 companies.

Seegene was recognized for showing a continuous growth and creating more jobs each year, contributing to stabilization of employment. It was also recognized for creating a great work-life balance and praiseworthy organizational culture. For the past two years, the company has reduced the working hours without deducting wages to create a better working environment for the workers and promoted maternity/paternity leaves. In a bid to continue creating quality jobs, the company has been growing and making efforts to enhance the working environment to follow up.

Companies selected as a Korea’s Best Job are given administrative, financial incentives for one to three years such as preferential credit evaluation and interest rate, postponement of tax investigation, and regular labor supervision waiver.
