Seegene attended Molecular Microbiology Meeting 2018 (MMM 2018) that was held in Sydney, Australia, from April 11th to 12th.
MMM is Australia’s one of the representative academic forums in which the latest diagnostic methods of molecular microbiology area and new molecular microbiology concepts are shared with relevant research scientists,, clinicians and the specialist in the field of molecular microbiology. This year, lectures were composed of synthetic biology, antibiotic resistance, real-time public health genomics, bacteriophage and much more.
Seegene has attended MMM since 2016 to expand market share in diagnostic market by acquiring new customers in Australia. This year, Seegene intensively introduced All-in-One platform (All MDx assays in one platform) that can be applied to various molecular diagnostic tests that include infectious diseases as a single platform.
A person in charge of sales said, “Since specialists in molecular microbiology are gathered in this academic forum, they have high understanding and interest on multiplex molecular diagnostics with real-time PCR basis. Especially, we have a high expectation on various product lines such as respiratory infection, gastrointestinal infection. that can be applied to All-in-one platform, as well as drug resistance test products that will be newly added. Therefore, we will expand customer sites, where consider the introduction of molecular diagnostics and test menu expansion, as the center.”
