The proprietary technologies ACP™ and DPO™ optimize the efficiency and accuracy of conventional PCR method which widely used for molecular diagnostics, to test different types of pathogens in a single reaction. The center has been developed the Molecular diagnostic products that detect multiple pathogens using various Real-time PCR instruments by developing READ and TOCE™Technology, which overcome technical limitations of conventional Real-time PCR method.
The Reagent Development Center focuses on the development of various diagnostic products based upon Seegene’s core technology. Seegene’s simultaneous and multiple molecular diagnostic products include dozens of products that detect causative pathogens, for infectious diseases such as respiratory infections, STDs, TB, cervical cancer, Meningitis, Acute Diarrhea, as well as drug resistance, cancers that causes hereditary diseases.
The Convergence Research Center is undertaking the task of technology commercialization and business development of products through active exchange with global molecular diagnostics companies. Also, for global business, the center is contributing to the development of a new customizable molecular diagnostics automation system with companies specialized in diagnostics automation instruments.
The Software Development Center is developing results analysis software that integrates IT technology into Molecular Diagnostics technology for rapid and easy analysis of test results from Seegene’s simultaneous and multiple molecular diagnostic assays. The center develops software for a variety of Real-time PCR instrumentations that could run Seegene’s simultaneous and multiple molecular diagnostic tests Furthermore, they develop well suited software for Seegene’s that could provide unique and differentiated Real-time PCR experiences such as convenient result read-out and getting quantitative information in addition to accurate multiplex Real-time PCR test results.
Making a stepping stone of instrument development specialized for OEM businesses, Technical Engineering and Automation Center has been operating and developing instrumentations for DNA extraction, PCR reagent dispenser, Auto electrophoresis, Real-time PCR and designing methodology as well as necessary supplements. The center is designated to introduce instruments that are optimized for Seegene’s products to domestic and global markets through active partnerships and collaborating global companies.
The Research Information Center is introducing world-class diagnostic products in response to requests for development of products from numerous expertise who have years of experiences in the area of molecular diagnostics.
