The conventional methods (ELISA, Giemsa stain, culture, etc.) to detect STI pathogens take several days or suffer from poor sensitivity. Therefore, many of the recently developed diagnostic methods employ PCR methods. Among them, Seegene's STI Master ACE Detection is outstanding in terms of sensitivity and specificity using a novel DPO™ technology and currently detects multiple pathogens causing sexually transmitted infections by Mutiplex PCR. Seeplex® STI Master ACE Detection detects 25 pathogens causing sexually transmitted infection (STI) and consists of a total of five panels separated by disease such as uterus infection, yeast infection, and ulcers.

 |
| A. |
Simultaneous detection of 25 pathogen causing sexually transmitted infection (STI) pathogens |
| B. |
customized STI test by each panel |
| C. |
Multiplex PCR with high sensitivity and specificity by applying DPO™ (Dual Priming Oligonucleotide) technology |
|
DPO- based primers contain two priming parts, so that the target gene only is specifically amplified. |
| D. |
Applicable for Auto-capillary Electrophoresis device |
| |
PCR amplicons are separated and analyzed automatically; consequently, rapid and easy interpretation of the results is made possible. |
| E. |
Contamination Prevention System |
| |
One-time PCR reduces the carryover contamination risk, and 8-MOP, which is included in each set of products, eliminates the contamination risk from PCR. |
| F. |
Accurate system for interpretation of results |
| |
Internal control is included in each set of product. |
