MTHFR is a key enzyme in folic acid metabolism, which catalyzes the synthesis of methionine through re-methylation of homocysteine to methionine1).

Seeplex® MTHFR C677T/A1298C ACE by adopting DPO™ technology is a unique product PCR testing MTHHFR C677T and A1298C without additional steps such as sequencing, restriction enzyme digestion.

A. Identification of mutations of MTHFR (C677T & A1298C) with single PCR reaction
B. Multiplex PCR with high sensitivity and specificity by applying DPO™ (Dual Priming Oligonucleotide) technology
  DPO™ based primers contain two priming parts so that only target gene is specifically amplified.
C. Applicable for Auto-capillary Electrophoresis detection device
  Rapid and easy interpretation of the result can obtained by applying Agarose gel electrophoresis, as well as auto-detection system.
