Seegene's innovative real-time PCR method, READ (Real Amplicon Detection), is a powerful technology that overcomes the limitations of conventional real-time PCR. READ (Real Amplicon Detection) is totally different from current probe- (TaqMan, Molecular Beacon, etc.) and primer-based (Scorpion, LUX, Sunrise, etc.) real-time PCR methods, and opens new opportunities for highly effective pathogen detection.
READ (Real Amplicon Detection) PCR provides dramatic improvement in sensitivity and specificity when combined with Seegene's proprietary DPO™ technology (Dual Priming Oligonucleotide).

1. Clear results

- Show totally different amplification curve from that of conventional Real-time PCR.
- All results show below 10 threshold cycle (Ct).
- From the conventional Real-time PCR, the results can be unclear when the amplification curve appears around the cut-off value (Ct > 40). However, with Magicplex™ System, It always shows very clear results(Ct:2.2) to be decided.
- Fundamental prevention of aerosolized PCR product contamination.

2. Efficiency of Real-time PCR equipment
Magicplex™ System offer the results of 4 tests within 2 hours with just one Real-time PCR machine.
3. No noise signal
Noise signals frequently appear in conventional Real-time PCR (caused by repeat tests or false positives) do not exist in Magicplex™ System, hence fundamentally eliminating the repeat tests and false positive results.
4. Highest sensitivity
Magicplex system is effective with tests which requires high sensitivity, as its sensitivity is 100-fold higher than conventional Real-time PCR.
5. Amplicon bank helps to reduce TAT(total turn around time) and save cost and labor
Because disease-releated pathogen amplification bank produced by DPO is stable and convered for a long time, there is no extra work for additional sampling, extraction or amplification steps.

amplification of Internal Control and target genes failed in conventional PCR but it shows apparent amplification signal in Magicplex system.
