positions in the U.S.
Established in September 2000 as part of the business incubation program at Ewha Women's University, the Company specializes in the PCR (polymer chain reaction)-based development of genes, functional analysis, and disease diagnosis technology, in addition to the export of the related products.
We have announced about 240 citations on the DPO¢â and ACP¢â technologies, held technological seminars on 250 occasions, and provided a technological service to about 1,000 research institutes. Having made great strides with our applications for patents, we are exporting our products for both research and diagnosis to 25 countries, including the U.S. and Japan. We also made a technology transfer contract with Sigma-Aldrich, Inc. of the U.S.
Starting from 2006, we expanded our business to the area of molecular diagnosis, introducing 20 different types of super multiplex PCR products to the market. At present, we have been receiving the world's attention including the USA and Japan and providing a new turning point to molecular diagnostics. Presently, we are pushing ahead with the development of automated systems and OEM-based (original equipment manufacturer) production through collaboration with 30 university hospitals and businesses both inside and outside of Korea . Also various business opportunities are under discussion with several large diagnostics businesses.
Aiming to activate the US market in molecular diagnostics, we are currently recruiting marketing/ sales professionals with experience in the diagnostic market. Positions open are sales associates, sales managers, marketing/ sales director. One person will work in Washington DC through Rockville office, MD, and other people who are going to different regions will work at home office in other regions. We look for your applications.
